I have recently been prescribed Metoprolol Succinate for elevated blood pressure (not worse than other middleaged men). I am also being prescribed Abilify for dysthymia.
I have noticed that Abilify does not work as well as it used to do. I have also noticed sexual problems, primarily anorgasmia.
My questions to all you knowledgeable babblers are as follows:
- has anyone had experience with Metoprolol worsening depression?
- has anyone had experience with Metoprolol causing sexual problems?
- can anyone suggest a better anti-hypertensive?
