Glutamate Anti psychotic opportunity in my hospital
im on the list with my doctoritd one from Johnson Johnson Glutamate anti psychotic
in addon to 2 anti psychotics i am currently taking.
shall i grab the opportunity fast or not.. is it dangerous? i heared people recover from glutamate anti psychotic...

I read that one of these newer drugs caused an unusually high rate of Neuroleptic Malignancy Syndrome. Just be on the look out for that, please.
Other than that, I personally think you should jump at the chance, unless you're already doing well.

hey. I probably shouldn't have told you that. Even though from what I read it *seems* more common than with the atypicals (I read this about a Lily product, I think), its still uncommon/rare. If you get NMS, I think the way they treat it is to withdraw your neuroleptic(s) and give you Ativan and some other drugs. If it happens, it seems to involve a couple days stay in the hospital.

Hey yes, ILADVOCATE from medhelp told me it's eli lilly product, no per se from johnson & johnson

hey, Jeroen. Keep your chin up. You seem better now than you were before. Maybe the glutamate drug is the ticket to full recovery? Or even just more time on your current combo? Who knows.
And yes, psychiatry sucks. Lots of BS and hype, very little in the way of actual help. And the drugs that do help severe cases aren't much different from what's been around for 50+ years. Where's the progress?
