Hi Phillipa, you mentioned your insomnia on an earlier thread, and mentioned you take an SSRI plus a benzo.
Have you ever tried adding a tricyclic at bedtime (say nortriptyline 75mg), this could help you sleep and also help improve your daytime anxiety and depression.
Best to start at 25mg and build up to 75mg over 2 weeks or so.
Worth a thought anyway

Jono thanks for thinking of me but at age 65 can't risk the cardiac risk. I did try l0mg of pamelor few years ago and was so sedating spent most of day in bed. Took only once. Phillipa

Damn, thts a shame! I found that with amitriptyline.....took 75mg at bedtime, and spend the next day feeling as though I was comming out of a general anaesthetic
