i am having really low energy and motivation. I am currently on Effexor 150 (2 months at this level), titrating up lamictal currently at 50 mg.
I am just pooped all the time. I sleep 8 hours a night which is good. But dont seem to have any energy at all unless I am drink coffee throughout the day. I am also taking concerta and ritalin, which helps calm my thoughts and definately helps my add.
Im going to see my doc this week. Any suggestions?

I suggest increasing your Effexor dose. Effexor is usually energizing, so I think it's unlikely to be the source of your fatigue.
My usual dose was 375mg but I took 450mg for a while, so you've got lots of room with which to play! I noticed a distinct boost in energy and anti-depressant effect with each dose increase (and a massive slump with each dose decrease, but that's another story) -- it should not take long to tell if an increased dose is helping you.
I hope you feel less fatigued soon. Fatigue sucks.

Effexor was stimulating for me. Seems they work in reverse with me? Phillipa

I'd be careful with the Lamictal. It might make the fatigue worse as you go up. I drink a pot of coffee and could sleep 10 hours everyday if I didn't force myself up.

Effexor caused fatigue for me. I took 50-150mgs over the course of several years. I thought that I was just a low energy person until coming off the drug.
When I took it, I would feel less fatigued right after a dose increase and then fatigued again within about a week.
