Which do you think wellbutrin would play nicest with, for social anxiety?
Both effexor and paxil work for me, but paxil makes me sleep for 20 hours a day, and effexor makes me lazy and fat.

> 75mg on the effexor and 20mg (I think?) on the paxil.That are low doses for both of them. Maximum doses are generally 375mg for Effexor and 60mg for Paxil, and even higher doses are not unheard of. Could you not tolerate higher doses?

Aren't those now considered high doses seems the trend is for lower doses of meds. Especially as one gets older. Wellbutrin is very energizing for anxiety that I know first hand. But maybe a low dose like 75mg wouldn't be that bad? Phillipa

150mg on effexor was too much for me. Made me anxious. 75mg made me super calm and relaxed.
I don't know about paxil. It wiped me out so much, that I doubt going higher would be any better. But who knows?

I have social anxiety and I take bupropion 150 XL. It doesn't seem to do much to help SA. I also take alprazolam 1.5mg. per day. I still find it difficult to go out much or socialize with people at church, etc. that I don't know very well. Lately I've been worse than ever :( thinking of asking my doctor what else can help.

To me the wellbutrin would up your anxiety as It's stimulating. Also I think we both have been on benzos for so long I don't feel they work anymore. Same here no socializing other than outside where feel can escape or in stores to random people. Love Phillipa
