i may skip taking it tonight, when my mom gives it to me ill put it under my tongue and take it out. Listen, I know its not smart to stop it but please listen ... when my mind was on fire last week, the zyprexa completly wiped the insane thoughts out, it calmed it...and I went to sleep for long hours. Its vary well on calming terror or better term fear... from the thoughts....
but also at the same time with me...i lose that feeling of intrest of studying hours after hours on the internet about things im intrested in...of course you may know that lucifer has been a big project lately to study...
if I don't take zyprexa or any antipsychotic...my mind begins to feel much intrest and life, similar to feeling like I did on dexedrine exept theres no psychostimulant action such as repetive tasks, stimulant effects...but the overfocus feeling is vary similar. I actually am glad...because maybe my mind adapted to the situation where I can't take a traditional stimulant and it started to do its own actions to restore dopamine levels. But at the same time....delusion, and fear will come after not taking antipsychotic medication for a couple days...just I feel like sleeping or feel dull, not active, my thoughts are not alive.
Still, I wouldnt mind finding a shorter acting one. Something I could take at night and only lasted for about 6 hours then my mind could be back to life when I wake up in the morning.
It's not really a serious issue that its effecting my life....i just want to keep the heighted awareness feeling about both reality and spirit issues. Zyprexa usally makes all that go away, and makes me feel boring in life...
thanks for reading maybe Ill post tommorow and see what happens

If it's possible, you might try halving the dose, or perhaps taking it every other day, maybe bringing the overall blood levels to a lower state.

Maybe you need a smaller dose now that you're stable, what dose are you currently taking?
Geodon is less sedating than Zyprexa, so might be worth a try

>Its vary well on calming terror or better term fear... from the thoughts....
I'm telling you my friend, you have OCD.
>i lose that feeling of intrest of studying hours after hours on the internet about things im intrested in...
Zyprexa can make you feel that way-kinda flat. Especially with high doses.
>such as repetive tasks
OCD
>I feel like sleeping or feel dull, not active, my thoughts are not alive.
It would be to your advantage to start a mood stabilizer so you can lower the amount of Zyprexa you are taking.
>it started to do its own actions to restore dopamine levels.
Most medications do not alter levels of any given neurotransmitter more than a couple weeks after they have been stopped.
>delusion, and fear will come after not taking antipsychotic medication
A true delusion is never recognized. Fear can put strange thoughts in your head and you will recognize them as strange thoughts. Your mind will ponder these strange thoughts over and over, filling you with fear.
>i just want to keep the heighted awareness feeling about both reality and spirit issues.
This is called hypervigilance. OCD likes to do this.

I take 20mg.... The zyprexa makes the motivation of trying to find awareness go away, lifeless feeling. but anyways....
yea i could take a half...but still i know 10mg would have a similar effect...its just not 20mgs. 5mgs wouldnt have an effect..but all nueroleptics cause boring thinking, i could say the only things it lets me do is eat and sleep, doing primative behaviours....
the postive things of letting my mind process without medication is feeling one with universe, studying for hours and learning new things, feeling life and motivation, and trying to achieve new awareness.
the negative things are delusions that cause me fear and think crazy things im being afflicted with a non-recognized sickess and no one listens to me and says its all in my head....that totally makes me feel like im a the only person that thinks this way. Really annoying an embarrasing to reveal.but yea....thanks for the response...

I'd try cutting it back to 15 (under your doctors supervision), maybe give it a couple more weeks to let things settle down, but definatly discuss it with your doc rj

i had to take it last night around 3 am because my thoughts got intense, got the same feeling my brain is on fire. Started to have thinking modes of awareness and feeling connected with the universe, but it results after a couple days in delusions and fear. Agitated mania. Ugh, I thought I could go a couple days without it....like i said, im more hyperfocused when I don't take it...more intrested in my intrests. It makes it go away and feel boring.
I wished I could take one that lasts short life.

Well, you could always switch to seroquel or perphenazine, they have shorter half lives. I think you won't do well with out the zyprexa. I like what the other poster said, take 15mg Z.
This is the end of the thread.
