She called me lasty night - apparently she reviews her new referals on the weekend, she wants to take me as a patient, and will see me for an hour on March 1st!

One part of me wants to march in and start telling her my ideas and requasting Nardil right away, but my sensibler side says "she's professor of psychiatry at two medical schools, let her have her say and try some stuff before you start trying to dictate treatment"
I'll see what she suggests, if its more of the same (SSRI's) then I'll have to say no, because given that i have failed Zolloft, Paxil, Prozac, Celexa and Effecor, all in high doses, I dont think theres much point persuing the SSRI path any futhur

Jono bring a list of the meds you have been on and the doses. And said this is why you consulted a doctor with an excellent reputation such as hers. Say what do you feel I should attempt next? Phillipa

I'll also ask if she wants to get copys of mynotes from my psychiatrist in Adelaide - he sent a letter to my GP here, but it basicly said "Jonathan is suffering from endrogenous depression, GAD and panic disorder. he is currently taking Zoloft, Edronax and Xanax, and I recomend that he keep taking them for as long as is nessecery", which was a bit short on detail.

I've yet to have a pdoc here request the records of the previous docs. They like to make their own assessments and not be biased by what the other docs said or think. Phillipa
