Possibly. There is/was some speculation that dirtier (or less selective) drugs tend to poop out less. Some believe that the TCA's MAOI's or "dual action" drugs like venlafaxine poop out less.
You certainly didn't hear much about TCA poop out, however, their use was never as widespread as with SSRIs

Im on parnate,and i posted that like many after its initial robust effect it often poops out,i also wrote that i learned its a drug that for me needs to be augmented,once done it regains and hols steady a therputic effect.
