Anyone know the significance of the enzyme interaction between the two? Bupropion inhibits CYP2D6.

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but are you considering taking such a combo?

I think you should also consider adding Effexor/Pristiq.

There's no danger in adding Effexor/Pristiq to Nortriptyline?

> There's no danger in adding Effexor/Pristiq to Nortriptyline?I have not encountered anything that would lead me to believe that there is an adverse interaction between these two drugs. I had no problem combining Effexor 300 mg/day with nortriptyline 75 mg/day. I did not add mirtazapine to this combination, but Effexor + mirtazapine has had a reputation for being a particularly good treatment for TRD.

I took Viibryd + nortriptyline without sequalae. It worked for about a week before pooping-out. Effexor has an established track record for efficacy. However, Viibryd seems to have a better side-effect profile. I experienced no adverse effects on sex-drive or function with Viibryd. If you are desperate, I think Effexor is a better choice. If you can afford to invest some time in performing multiple drug trials, Viibryd is probably a better choice.

That is, replace nortrip with duloxetine.thanks again,
tensor

Some people do well with Cymbalta who failed to respond adequately to Effexor.

I was thinking that these two drugs should be combined.
