racing thoughts

Posted by markwell on June 23, 2013, at 15:04:21

Is anyone aware of a good med for racing thoughts? A med or a natural approach. I have bp1 more depression than mania. I can't take topamax as I heard it causes depression. I would appreciate any suggestions.

a med that i take for bad mood swings is zyprexa....i've been on it a couple years....its sedating and makes thoughts not excited....i went to rehab for 1 year and the whole time i w as there i was sedated on zyprexa...lol it tuned everything out and made passive...

depakote and geodon are main things that could help

I tried lithium for 6 months when my thyroid numbers went through the roof. It never really helped racing thoughts.
