Damn. I have slowly gone up to 40mg and just started having major carb cravings. Do the carb cravings and/or weight gain taper off? I actually haven't felt like it is sedating for me. I know I am still at a low dose, so I am in big trouble if the cravings continue to get worse if I increase my dose.

Desipramine would be an alternative if you cant tolorate nortriptyline because of weight gain and carb cravings
