Up and down, around and over. Feeling a little gleefull...oh damn here comes the depression. And now the anxiety. Ughh!
Over years++ I have not been able to figure out my rapid cycling patterns and what or why. Usually throughout the day and every few days. I've looked at my eating, sleeping, caffeine, supplements, activity, sunlight, immune system, etc. Nada thing.
Has anyone else found something that will trigger a mood switch?

Medications - SSRIs, stimulants, steroids, cold medicine.
First comes the anxiety, then the depression will hit. Terrible cycle.

I can't recall anything that triggers worsening depression. It seems to come and go whenever.

i ditto Linkadge but also add sleep issues (too much or not enough) either way it effects me.
oh and if i have long-term uncontrolled anxiety, it exacerbates depression too.

I can't really determine if caffeine screws me up more. If it does it's not immediate. Is caffeine bad in every case of rapid cycling?
