Hey guys. 1st MAOI I took was phenelzine (Nardil) but when that lost its efficiacy, and after a few trial augmentations I switched to isocarboxazid (Marplan). Like a new med, it kicked it with a 'buzz' of its own and became, and still is a lot easier to augment compared to phenelzine. Tho on its own you might get some anxiety coz it doesn't have that phenelzine 'cushion' effect.
What I'm interested in is if anyone has switched from one MAOI because of poopout to another MAOI. Your experiences?
Even better if anyone did the swap, then the second pooped out so back to the previous. Did it kick in a second time? Anything help/augmentations?Dr
