Nardil + Sleep Apnea

Posted by uncouth on April 28, 2014, at 22:25:15

Short post. Been on nardil for 5 weeks now. Sleep apnea persistently worse, as measured by CPAP machine 7-day rolling average. I was around 1.8-2.5 for a few months. Since Nardil, it's around 4, and hasn't gone down with an increase in pressure, either. Total sleep time is similar, but in the past i've noticed that i'm very sensitive to even small changes in AHI. I was totally nonfunctional for 18 months pre treatment with an AHI of around 6-7 (mild). I can tell a huge difference between an AHI of 1 vs 2 vs 4.

Anyone have any thoughts? What's going on? Sleep dr. said more apnea events happen in REM sleep, and Nardil is supposed to totally wipe that out, which is why i'm very surpsied its gone up!
