Paradoxically, I get less insomnia on Effexor than on fluvoxamine.

Good luck. I would just mention that some people do significantly better on Pristiq than on Effexor.

Although my response was not robust, I did better on Effexor + nortriptyline than I did on either drug alone.

Actually, I am currently on mirtazapine + venlafaxine.

I was taking remeron + fluvoxamine. However, I was finding myself getting more and more fatigued and detached.

I am surprised by how venlafaxine seems very different from SSRIs in terms of its actions.

Even at 37.5, I have significantly more energy than 50mg of fluvoxamine. On paper, Effexor should be an SSRI at this dose.

I take the same dose. No additional benefit with higher dosages.

Yeah, I have taken up to 75mg. 37.5 seems to be the best trade off (for me at least) in terms of effect and side effects.
