Im finding great benefit from combining small doses of L-tyrosine to my abilify. Has anyone else had much success with combining amino acids-5-HTP, L-tryptophan, L-tyrosine etc with meds. Other than adding SAM-E and B-vits can you enhance the effect in any more by use of simple technique. Thanks. PB

Totaly just remeber theyere natural but youre not using them naturaly your using them as a med megadosing it alone.Which is fine but some recomend you cylce on and off whenver using amino acid therapy tons of lifters use them for muscle growth and cuts your safe just be careful.
Some ones used for mental disorders i can think of are.
- Taurine which is like gaba not very potent at crossing the brain but is calming like gaba can be added to a gaba med and calms over firing of nerve cells.
-Glycine also calming but made me very very depressed.Very.
- l TYROSINE raises i THINK dopamine or one of them not to be used with a maoi.
- L Phenyaline stimulative raises dopamine again not to be used with a maoi said to be good for lethargy depression.
- Dlpa phneylanine with a kick offers with it a supposed pain relief element i never found.
Other then aminos some nutrients i found psycho active are
Picamilion gaba attatched to a b carrier so gaba gets to the brain,so effective the great fda is trying to ban it.
- Kava kava hits 15 recptor sites at onces even a script med in germany called kavain.
- Valarian root i found horrid but said to raise gaba and good for sleep.
- phenibutt i believe is natural close to ghb but said to be toxic and can give u a buzz.
- What i use a actual nutrient called ghb its gaba attatched to a hydroxide carrier very potent form of gaba good for anxiety depression social avaoidance and more.
- DMG under the tongue very potent some people find it stimulating there are lots lots more.Good luck.
