i've heard about people putting heating pads on their head to relieve depression, it's not really a big difference, i mean the tempeture increases n ueron firiung but i've been outside hot as arizona and still depressed as hell

I can see the mechanism behind that, like a hot shower or sauna when you're anxious.
But the long term effects, i don't know..Still, it can not be bad for you.

I first noticed years ago that when I have a fever, my mind becomes much quieter. I'd gladly induce hyperthermia every six weeks for some internal peace and quiet.

oh man, you're right!
When i think about it i have recognized that to,
even when i'm hungover (mildly hungover) and sweating, my brain gets quieter to!I think you're on to something..

Does this coincide with taking nsaids as a fever reducer?

No. When I have a fever, I generally let it run its course.
