Doctors ok'ed Trazodone

Posted by Lamdage22 on June 14, 2016, at 3:54:55

No idea what will be going on with me. If i will be suicidal when they discontinue Luvox today.

Tonight i get 50mg Trazodone. Last night i was suicidal. i really thought that my family would be better off without me.

It is atrocious. They love me and would be devastated if anything happen to me. I wish i had better things to report.

I need to focus on my instinct to survive here. The doctors are committed to helping me. If all else fails, i even think they would let me try cyproheptadine for anorgasmia. But first they wanna see to give me sth. that doesnt cause it in the first place.

You know, sex is a valve to get rid of stress for me. It works.

Doubt the meds are going to help. Maybe making things worse. There is nothing in your cocktail that is anti-inflammatory. Nothing in it is anti-toxin. Nothing in it is anti-microbial. In my experience - and the 2 docs who got me well after 25 years of depression - mood symptoms almost always come from one of those categories, or usually a combination of them.

There is hope in the Bible. Jesus can lead you down the right path, help you with the right doctors, cause co-incidences in your favor to happen, cause what others would call good luck to happen.

This board is about meds but just wanted to mention - the spirit of God helps to navigate the medical decisions and choices. I would not have been saved from suicidal depression if not for Jesus taking over the steering wheel. Ask Him to.

The vitamin D is a decent start but needs to be year round not just winter.

In addition, at least 500mg Vit C t.i.d.

Get a professional mutlivitamin/mineral - not an over the counter one - needs to have very high amounts of B vitamins and specialty co-factors such as "methyl" and "picolinate" and " malate".

Fish oil any dose small or large, way better than none. There is a mood formula with high EPA fish oil.

NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) to help the body produce glutathione, a primary player in removing toxins.

Vitamin should have high amount of Zinc, or take extra zinc, it prevents viruses from having babies, they can seriously mess up mood.

Berberine is an amazing chemical found in some plants - barberry root, oregon grape root, goldenseal, coptis root - powerful antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal, also good for blood sugar issues, also treats depression and anxiety. Need high doses, very non-toxic even at extreme doses. I still take 6 capsules per day to maintain remission.

Rhodiola rosea - great herb for energy, depression, anxiety, insomnia - hundreds of scientific studies - difficult to get started but wonderful after the rough start.

DHEA at least 25 mg. But start at 5mg, increase it by 5mg every week.

Milk thistle to help the liver with the chemical meds and to help clean out toxins.

Source Naturals makes an herbal supplement with a long laundry list of amazing herbs in it, many of which cured me of Lyme and depression, it is called Vegan True Vitamin C Plantioxidant Complex. Dozens of amazing ingredients beneficial to psych conditions.

Many other suggestions possible. The point is, modify the approach. Give the body all the tools it needs. Right you don't have that. Depression can be cured without meds. Don't stop your meds. But do experiment with other options. I have never known a longterm psych patient that got better. I do know people who were long term psych patients who eventually did their own self care and those people got better.

None of these work fast. Months. Your body got sick over a long period of time. Not easy to undo quickly. But can be undone.

I will never know for sure what caused my very long standing treatment resistant depression. But I know for sure what cured it....anti-microbial, anti-toxicity, anti-inflammatory. This after spending $35,000 on psychiatrists and their meds, another $28,000 for ECT which failed miserably, attempted suicide as soon as it was done. A Lyme doctor got me better. But there are a great many things which cause issues exactly like Lyme and can be reversed by using the same treatment.

Hang in there! May God bless you.
