Yesterday I took 16 mg of Gabitril, jumping up from the 8 mg I was previously on. I got paranoid the drug was f*ck*ng me over and almost had a panic attack. Did Gabitril stop the panic?

i'm telling you, gabitril has funky stuff about it, it has mood swing side effects, i was actually thinking about trying it. The net reviews, people have written the side effects, gabitril is funky medication, you may want to move to neurontin. It's mainly seizure treatment, but can help, its a GABA reuptake inhibitor. You not alone, there are tons horror stories about gabitril, the drug is funky drug, try to get off it.

It really does help with the anxiety. After my panic subsided I found myself very calm. No effects on my mood at 8 mg so I don't see that being a problem at the higher 16 mg dose. It does affect my cognition.

Seems to me the correct spelling is Gabitril. See:

Me? I'm not on tiagabine (Gabitril). However, I have some orthostatic hypotension from bisoprolol. Clozapine is sedating and disrupts the swallowing reflex, so I get saliva on the pillow when I sleep. I'm not sure, but trimipramine may be a little sedating, as it is an antihistamine like clozapine. Lamotrigine, cariprazine, and sulpiride are free of side effects in my experience.
