I currently have a crop of psilocybin containing mushrooms under production for the last two weeks. Total time of production from inception to harvest is 6 weeks.
Just in case current trial of nardil augmentaion does work as hoped.
Said it begfore, will say it again--"Giving up is not in my vocabulary"
Constructive advice welcome. General bitching or uncategorical criticism is not--cuz I won't heed the criticism generated by your low opinion of your self anyway. Funny how some people have such a low opinion of themselves, they feel the need to put someone else down in order to feel a little better about themselves. Source-- Psychology Today.

I liked psilocybin during my college years. I do think seeing the world and yourself so vastly different it's extremely relieving.
Personally (as an MAOI user) I would be afraid of mania if taken at the same time or close together. I have gone completely psychotic manic before so I know I am at risk.
New study (last few days): New research confirms lingering mood benefit of psychedelics.

Kudos to not writing in all caps. Now we just need to use one thread for one topic. You could easily have taken your first thread about psilocybin. But this is an improvement!
Even though less severe, this stuff was going on on these boards before. You are correct with that notion. But that doesn't mean that it is a good thing for us and we should all do it.

Thanks for the constructive post. Good point you make about Nardil + 'roomers.' If I do decide to try them, I will be micro-dosing at a very low dosage rate, slowly increasing the dosage until I feel a resonse.
Some of these studies are amazing, with nearly a 100% depression relief for depression for a duration of 5 weeks. Then I guess you have to microdose 1X every 5 weeks.Daughter tried ECT, Ketamine infusions at Mayo for $500 bucks a pop----no response, so I am desperate to help her.
Thanks!!! Greg

Thanks for the advise. As a newbie I get kinda confused with protocol. I start a new thread, then I get a notice saying "thread is closed" and there's no link to continue it. What's up with that?
So I regrettably return to where I had been posting before which pisses people off. I just don't get some of this site's parameters and rules.

Oh, ok. I haven't come across this phenomenon yet. Maybe someone else can explain. As some sort of Schizophrenic, I have lots of respect for psychedelic substances. Weed turned me into a paranoid zombie 2 years ago. So I wonder what would happen if I tried Psilocybin. I would be really careful not to overdose it, even without my particular diagnosis.

?ood advive! XFound this thanks to another poster (sorry-forgot your handle).
A microdose is a sub perceptual amount of a psychedelic substance. Generally, a microdose of magic truffles will be:
0.5 -1.5 gram fresh truffles
0.3 1 gram dried. This means that the effects are very subtle and are barely noticeable, if at all. Generally a microdose is approximately 1/10 1/20th of a medium dose.
Benefits Of Microdosing
As well as a generally improved sense of well being, the list of benefits people are reporting is impressive and includes:
improved sense of wellbeing, mproved mood, alleviation of anxiety and depression, enhanced creativity, productivity, problem solving, improved energy levels, quitting nicotine.
"As everyone is different, Id recommend trying different amounts over a trial period to find your personal sweet spot.
For example, trying doses at various weights within the scale, for example:
0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.1, 1.3, 1.5 grams." ---from the net.

Psiloscybin is not harder to handle than THC (for me) but is much clearer and more intense. Acceptance (for a time) of difficult feelings may be a necessary part of it.
Microdosing feels more like some kind of stimulant.
That is my experience FWIW.

After a mushroom trip I can imagine death seeming like just one more concept.

The rest is not our business

Do you mean like not being afraid of death? I'm not, and I didn't need a psychedelic to come to that point.
I'm also spiritual, and I believe what we call death is just the failure of the brain to function properly, in a way that triggers the spirit/consciousness to leave the body. I used to be pretty much a materialist, and I think psychosis was essential to reach my present state.

Maybe the experience of psychedelics help one live in the moment better?
