been reading sources that gabapentin, it takes about an hour for GABA levels to increase and compared to lyrica - nuerontin takes a bit longer to work than pregabalin. Like i took nuerontin and didnt realize the psychoeffects, or the gaba increase till about hour later. Gabapentin is ok medication but when they pulled me off diazepam and all that phenibut withdrawl, they took me off diazepam and nuvigil because they were both controolled substances. And it just came down to a trainwreck
gabapentin defeintly takes about an hour to start working for me, i take 600mg
anyone else here have nuerontin expereinces in specific terms?

checking back in, yes it does take gabapentin a while to increase GABA levels in about an hour, then i feel relaxed. Pregabalin is better (lyrica) it works almost instant-immidiately and sources say that many people with generalized anxiety disorder respond better to pregabalin. Nuerontin, from a source i read (and yes i do confirm) " six-times more potent than gabapentin in binding affinity to the alpha2-delta voltage-gated calcium channel"pregabalin is more potent than gabapentin (but it's an anaologue, or a pro-drug from gabapentin)
