Hehehe, I know what your name means.
My Mom told me.
Anyone care to guess?
Hint. Fuzzy and cute ;-)
Do you know what your name means Dr. Bob? (Your last name.)
Do you know how to write your name?
I don't know how to write my Chinese name, I learned a few times but I never remember it.

Your last name is not a common name. My Mom has a friend back in California with your name. LOL Maybe I know your relatives.

You got it! Bear!
Bear as in
Teddy Bear,
Panda Bear,
Grizzly Bear!In Cantonese the word "bear" sounds exactly like the word "red".
Dr. Bob, do you use the Cantonese or Mandarin pronunciation? I'm guessing Mandarin. Am I right?

I guess you're not going to answer my questions. :-(
I realize my questions were innocent sounding questions that try to get personal info from you.
You probably get that. You're not stupid.
I also realize that if you did answer my questions, then you would be "socializing" with me and that's a no no.
Sigh, I just wish....
You don't mind me wishing right? LOL
I love you just the way you are. It's OK if you don't answer me.

Dr. Bob, where would be a good place to write about me loving you?
• Administration, where you would most likely see my posts? (probably not, eh? LOL)
• Psychology? because my love is a type of transference?
• Relationships? because I have an imaginary relationship with you
• Or Social?
You don't mind me having a need to express this love for you right? I hope you don't mind. Writing them out on the boards is much better than e-mailing them to you, right?
I luv you Dr. Bob! (((((((((Dr. Bob))))))))))

Bit of a wild idea here Deneb..
maybe the best place to discuss your love for Dr Bob is with your pdoc?? I'm not sure how appropriate it is at Babble...

Does expressing it here make Babblers uncomfortable? I really don't want to start e-mailing this stuff to Dr. Bob. I don't want to bother him.

Is it a problem that I "love" Dr. Bob (in a platonic way).
I'm not really harming anyone with this am I? It just feels really really good to love. It makes me really happy. I don't want to stop.
Love is so comfy...ahhhhh....like fluffy pillows...

OK, how about expressing it to your Pdoc??
I do think the possibility it makes others uncomfortable is there.. and I also think this current obsession needs discussing with your pdoc..
But this isn't administrative anymore ;)

well certainly it is fine to care about someone, but it begs the question "why would you not be more interested in seeking such a relationship in real life (with someone of course who is accessible and appropriate)?" Trying to pursue interactions with Dr. Bob is only likely to frustrate you.
I think talking about this to your pdoc is a good idea, or better yet, a therapist (if you have one yet).
