Half-life? I really don't know how to apply that concept to fish oil.
What were you concerned about?

Being an oil I guess it should stay in your body for a few days.
It's not the same as water soluble vitamins that probably need to be taken daily or perhaps more often to avoid being depleted.
It depends on your metabolism. If fast ..as may occur if one is overactive, agitated, hyped up, hyper, anxious..you need to take more often.
If hypo, depressed, sleepy, slow etc..you need less often...usually.
It seems to usually be recommended that you take oils about 2 or 3 times a week...or eat fish that often..but everyone is individual, and I can't see how more often could hurt.
I have also seen where they say take 3 times a day..I cannot figure out why this would be necessary either.
