Hello, what supplements can lower cortisol after stressful situations?.
I find it takes time for me to recover. Like after a demanding day of work the nex day i am very tired despite I slept enough.
Can it be cortisol?.
Thanks

If blood and urine tests do not indicate elevated cortisol levels, you should not try to lower your cortisol. Cortisol in normal amounts is necessary for your survival. If you have reason to believe your cortisol is elevated, then you should schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist.

If something works to lower cortisol, shouldn't that help with anxiety?
Destroying any of the evil parts that make anxiety, will allow us freedom at last.
I order magnesium and other things a week ago but it hasn't come in the mail yet. If it doesn't work, I'll see about trying something else.

I like the first answer...to get your levels checked. I happen to know there is a product out on the market that says it lowers cortisol. It's by New Chapter and it's called Holy Basil. I use it when I am really stressed out. I'm not sure how well it works for BP. Someone I know who is BiPolar said it effected her badly.

The only thing I heard of that will lower (normalize) cortisol levels are anti-depressive drugs.

I believe (but check your search engine) that L-Theanine helps lower cortisol.
