Multivitamin for men?

Posted by rianny on May 1, 2004, at 2:32:09

Hi.

I'm thinking of trying a new multivitamin.
The one I'm taking is general multivitamin that you can find in drug stores.

I wonder if I should take multivitamins for men or not. I'm thinking of "Mega Men" from GNC. (I'm 21 years old male btw) Tell me how it was for you if you've tried.

Also, could Iron cause tiredness or dizziness for men? My multivitamin seems like causing me more tired and dizzy, and it contains Iron.

Thx.

there are lots of good multis....in general if you

Iron is implicated in cancer....Since men don't bleed every month their iron is usually intact and accumulating.
If you are not low in iron...take a mulit without iron. My favorite vitamins are Mega Food whole food multi (yours would be for men). It's a one a day and from whole food so the vitamins naturally know how to be processed in your body. The body knows what to do with food more easily than synthetic vitamins. Another one I like is Natrues Plus Sustained Release multi hold the iron...it's nice cuz I have felt a difference when taking it.
Don't take anything with artificial colors or dyes people have said that that can make them sick.
