Anyone every tried Wolfberry? (It's related to Gogi berry if that helps and it supposedly comes from China). I've read some things on-line (mostly by the company that uses it in one it's products: Sulferzyme) but I was wondering if anyone has any real experience with it.
(My neighbor swears by it but I don't put much stock in her opinion. She thinks the aromatic oils company that puts it out is the end all and that their products are the only things to use to cure everything.)
So I was just looking for a more unbiased opinion on this herb if anyone has some info...

The species name is Lycium barbarum, in the nightshade family. There are perhaps fifty articles in Pubmed, mostly indicating that there is some antioxidant and immune stimulatory activity. But so do tomatoes (and other nightshades).
Is there something unique or special about wolfberry? I can't tell. It might be beneficial in the early stages of a viral illness. <shrug>
