I increased my magnesium taurate last night by 125 mg. and woke up feeling kind of nauseous. I'm wondering if it's because of the magnesium or whether it's totally unrelated. Did you have that feeling at first from increasing magnesium dosage? Also, how long before you could see positive effects from the increase?
Thanks,
K

I don't know if this helps, or is even that relevant, but I had diahrrea as soon as I increased my Mag. Citrate from 250mg to 500mg daily. My body seemed to adjust after about 3-4 days.
I took Taurine seperately, some time ago, and it always gives me nausea.
Both the diahrrea and nausea are gastric responses, for me, each from a different supplement. One form resolved after an adjustment period, the other never did.
Give it a few more days to see if you adjust.

When I started taking magnesium, I was taking 500 mg (250 mg, twice a day), and ended up having diarrhea. I reduced my dose down to 250 mg a day, and have not had a problem since.

> JasThe taurate form has the opposite effect from diahrrea. That's why I want to have different forms on hand depending on the need at the time.
I will continue with it for a few more days and see if the situation changes. Thanks,

Thanks. I think I'll try this dosage for a while longer and then if the nausea is still a problem, I'll go back down to my previous doage.
