Hi
Brief history. I was taking Adderall XR to help me make it through the day. My AD Parnate wasn't working and I need to combat my afternoon exhaustion (Parnate related). Now Adderall has gone bye-bye in Canada. So I am in withdrawal. I couldn't take it anymore so I started dexedrine today. I'm crashing on it.
In alternative meds what can I take that will help me. I live in Canada so certain enzymes etc. are not available. NADH being one of them.
Please help.

Trimethylglycine is very activating for me. The combination of TMG and NADH has a nice synergy about it.

Maxime,
I know this may sound a bit out there, but perhaps you could talk to you doctor or pdoc about trying some B-12 injections. In a thread below, I mentioned that I guy I know had the chance to try B-12 injections, and he noticed a marked improvement in energy and a significant decrease in brain fog, etc. Probably a bit unconventional, but may be worth a try.

Thanks Larry. Sounds like a plan.
Tamara, unless I had B12 deficiency (which I don't right now) he would never go for it. But there was a time when I was very deficient in B12 and needed injections. I felt so good after. I was really sick and at low weight with anorexia. I am still anorexic but at I have at least managed to be able to take vitamins and not consider them as extra calories.

I believe it was very common at one time, maybe you could find a doctor who is getting on in years who might be more comfortable with it.
