Hi,
i've tried lithium orotate.. I actually do think its real lithium... but it is VERY mild, i would never take it for any 'real' mental illness... I tried it for a week and had a nice little response for my depression but it quickly faded...stick with good ol lithium carbonate in my opinion...

Do a search of lithium orotate here on PB. A lot of posters here have said that they've gotten good results from this without the side effects of lithium carbonate. Others have required lithium carbonate. It might be worth a try.K
