What's a good brand of magnesium glycinate?

Am interested in magnesium glycinate. Not sure if the brand, the maker, or how it is chelated is important though. Suggestions?

Carlson's is good.

I'm trying Doctor's Best, high absorption magnesium. It's chelated with glycinate and lysinate and includes biopterine. I just started it and can't say one way or another if it's better than Carlson's or not.

I also have mg glycinate from Beyond a Century -- in bulk form. Cheap this way.

KAL is the brand that seems most available in health food stores. My local store owner said KAL was bought out recently by Solaray and has upgraded this product to Solaray standards, but I have not personally tried it.

Imo, Carlson's is the way to go. Vitamin Shoppe is one source.

Solgar do a Chelated magnesium. I e-mailed the company to ask which amino acid they used and they told me it was glycine, so mag glycinate from Solgar.

Not expensive either.

I use Solgar. On the front of the bottle, it says "Pure Amino Acid CHELATED MAGNESIUM." On the back of the bottle, where it lists the nutrition information, it says, "Magnesium 400mg, as Magnesium glycinate, amino acid chelate." There is also a small amount of calcium in this product, as dicalcium phosphate.

There's also a Blue Bonnet brand of Magnesium Glycinate. It's in capsule form. I generally use this one.
