I've looked up this diet on the web, and tried to find an objective opinion.
As far as I can see there are only anecdotal reports to support this diet.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Experimental_cancer_treatment
"Johanna Budwig proposed another diet therapy she claims can treat cancer. As with Max Gerson, most oncologists do not believe that a diet can treat cancer. Reports of dramatic remissions as a result of the Budwig diet are anecdotal, and not supported by peer-reviewed research. (On the other hand, her diet is good from a nutritional point of view and probably cannot do harm.)"

Is cottage cheese only or are those soft, low fat cheese equivalent?. Is cottage cheese made from any special lactic cultures?.

Oh man...it tastes disgusting.
I use oil paints and it tastes like I just ate a tube of paint.I bought some linseeds ( not the oil) ...they're not so potent but I find chewing a couple of tablespoons gives me some energy and they taste nice.
I'll continue with the oil and cheese..YUCK! and see how I feel.

> Oh man...it tastes disgusting.
> I use oil paints and it tastes like I just ate a tube of paint. What tastes disgusting, hon? Seriously, if what you consumed tasted like oil paints, then it was unfit for human consumption. Did you have some linseed oil? That's not the same as flaxseed oil. In Europe, the two names are interchangeable, but not in North America.
Flaxseed oil should taste mildly nutty. And nothing more.

That's what the oil should taste like. Nice.

Or was the cheese what tasted like oil paint? Your semantics didn't make that clear.

Hi Lar..
You're right ...it IS Linseed oil but in bold letters on the jar I bought it says Flaxseed Oil and in tiny words in brackets it says Linseed oil- what a con!
I'll have to look for the proper stuff.Maybe I'll continue using it for the omega 3 or throw it away and stick to my fish oil.
The linseed oil is added to colour in paints when it is rancid...it tastes rancid :-)
It's the worst thing I've ever tasted..Sorry I ain't to clear with my posts, my brains damaged :-)
I've made my mind up I'm throwing it away and just munch on the seeds.
Slinky.
