I am sure there is an answer to this question if I looked hard enough but I will ask anyway. Since I am having trouble with the conventional treatments for PTSD, I am wondering have any of you found anything Homeopathic/Natural to assist with the symptoms, of course along with intense therapy, but is there anything that might be safer and at least somewhat effective for PTSD? I at one time did try St. John's Wart but it made me feel a bit OFF, but I did not have any side effects from it. So any info would be helpful because I have to make a choice here pretty soon of what I am going to allow them to give me. I have a real problem with not being allowed to have a say so as to what is put into my body, and I know I am not my usual self since this accident but I still would like to have some safer options. I saw a thread on chronic pain and that was interesting so I am hoping there might be some options for all of the crap they have been trying to perscribe to me. Thanks

Anticonvulsants are often used for PTSD when other things fail. You may, want to give a trial of Taurine, which is an alternative which is often used for many of the same purposes.
