I have had a minor relapse in depression and went and bought some SJW and SAMe, I can't tolerate SSRI's, SNRI's, TCA's RIMA's or AP's. Does anyone know if SAMe and SJW are safe to take together? I felt some relief after my first 400mg dose of SAMe and was quite surprised but it's really expensive. 20 caps cost me $42AUD. I'd love any feedback or further suggestions, I'm also taking mega B complex and vitamin C. I have been off prescription AD's for 11 months and don't plan to take them EVER again, cheers Paul

Used together they have a multiplying effect and compliment each other well.

I cant think of a direct interaction. I would assume that this combination is common as they are two of the most popular alternative depression treatments.
I combined SJW and precursors to SAMe for a while with some sucess.
Start low, and use as little as possable. Side effects may include agitation, some anxiety etc.
