inositol, when to take?

Posted by mogger on October 13, 2006, at 0:57:44

Hi there,
I am taking 13 grams of Inositol and I think I started a little too quickly. From day 1 i took 6.5 grams twice a day. Has anyone done the same thing? My question is what is the half life on inositol? I am taking it when I get up and then 5 hours later so 9am then at 2pm. By the time I go to bed and take it in the morning the next day, is it out of my system? Many thanks,
mogger

I took Inositol approx 12 grams a day for 3 months. I split the dose in to 6 grams morning and evening.
I didn't find it very helpful at all in treating Agoraphobia. I stopped taking it after 3 months and the withdrawal was very nasty indeed. At least I attribute the symptoms I had of extreme dizziness and exacerbation of Agoraphobia to the withdrawal from Inositol. It could have been psychological you never know but I do feel it was a nasty withdrawal.

I hate to discourage, but i also hate to see something i could help avoid.

Its only my opinion, but following the whole inositiol thing and trying it,i really recomend aganist it.It for me turned out to be a waste of a LOT of money, time, and effort.

Of course if you believe truly it will help dont let no one stop you,but i at least wanted to chime in.
