Body clocks

Posted by MM on April 29, 2007, at 3:59:33

Does anyone know if there are people with abnormal body clocks from genetics? I remember seeing something about an extended family who all have really weird body clocks, but my pdoc says this is impossible. Also, does anyone know if your body clock can really get reset? Like if you stay up late for years on end can your body completely adjust and switch your circadians around and all that? My whole family likes to stay up late and my brain doesn't wake up until about 5pm even if I've been awake since the early morning. Thanks.
