I'm dispensing with the acetyl-L-carnitine from my regimen. I don't think it really does anything for my depression. However, I think the N-acetyl-cysteine may produce an antidepressive effect over time. I've only been taking it at night, about 600mg. It is said to be helpful for bipolar disorder. Will post an update as the weeks go by.
