Hi Folks,
everything you need to know is in my signature.
I am interested in Glutamate antagonism, in Pro-Social substances and in focus and memory recall enhancing substances.
Be aware that i need to be careful with anything dopaminergic or serotonergic due to my Schizo-Affective disorder. Mostly Schizo-Depressive.
Id like to take stuff with alternative mechanisms other than dopamine and serotonin.
Thx

Well, what im looking for is the following things:
Anti-Impulsitivity, Anti-Social Anxiety, pro-Social, Anti-Addictive behaviour, anti-nightmaire.. anti-brain fog. and mood stabilization.
Just trying to tune up my quality of life some more beyond Parnate and Seroquel for this schizo-depressive phase of schizo-affective disorder. Schizo-Depressive is the most prevalent aspect of this illness in me.

Have you tried NAC? Here's a long article about it. It eventually gets to NAC as a glutamate antagonist about halfway through.

>Anti-Addictive behaviour
My experience with noni has been positive in that respect. When I could buy it fresh it was so cheap it was almost free. The products derived from it are often expensive and the form of those products is important to their efficacy. It is supposed to be good for everything which might make it a safe bet. I don't think it is snake oil (which actually was full of omega 3s).

I started taking d-limonene (from Swanson Vitamins) a month ago (I'm unipolar). It's having some antidepressant, anti-anxiety effects on me.

D-limonene might improve dopamine transmission.

Glycin
Serine
Sarkosin
NACThis Glutamate and nmda business confuses me.
Can anyone shed light on the substances above and their potential for schizophrenia positive and negative symptoms? For some weird reason NAC made me pre-psychotic at higher doses.
Help me understand
