The most obvious effect from B complex...

You can now see my urine from outer space without a telescope...

Guess that's the B2 (riboflavin).

Good sign that it contains at least some of what it says on the label.

I take a couple B-100 caps daily. The OM blends used to reduce TD back in the day involved at least 200mgs of B6, so I gotta pop a couple b-100s to get that much.

Anyway...I think you should try staying on a high potency B complex, especially if you take Rx meds. When I first started, I had a bit of mild stomach upset and neon urine, so I almost stopped, but...didn't, obviously.

Over the years, it seems that OM plus carefully dosed Rx meds have brought me back to Reality and also tamed my agitation, reduced med side effects, reduced my allergies and related skin conditions, improved my sleep quality, and made my hair and skin look awesome.

My problems are more severe than yours, of course. I just recommend some form of OM (not all cocktails are as high dose and involve as many supplements as mine) to just about everybody. Hoffer considered OM to be, at its core, an anti-stress program.

Hi CE,

Do you worry about the reports of peripheral neuropathy with high dose B6? I only take 10mg as a result.

>neon urine

Ha, that's exactly what it's like - fluorescent. It doesn't worry me though, I know it's normal with all supplements than contain B2. I believe it's just the colour imparted by riboflavin in the urine. In a way it's reassuring because if my urine wasn't neon, I wouldn't trust that the supplement was genuine!

Ed many years ago an ob-gyn had me take B6 for PMS as it cuts down on the amount of water one retains. It worked so continue taking 100mg a day. No neuropathy. PJ

Hi PJ,

How long have you been taking 100mg/day B6? Do you take it alone or as part of a B complex? Glad to hear it's helped.

Hi,

Do you think you still need such a high dose? Have you tried without it recently or a low dose? eg. 2-10mg/day.

I was wondering, does it affect sleep at all? I've heard some people get insomnia on high doses of pyridoxine (B6), but others say it's beneficial for their sleep.

Doesn't effect sleep. Went off it when ran out and just returned to it when replenished my vitamins at the store. PJ
