Hi there,
For the life of me I cannot find a probiotic that doesn't cause me anxiety and makes my depression worse. I have read that many strains can produce lactate which can make you feel worse and some can cause th1 or th2 to increase or decrease. Does anyone have any insight on this? I have depression and OCD. Thank you,
Mogger

I've tried many probiotics, and some of them have made my heart race. I like kefir (fermented milk), but I can tolerate only small amounts of it, otherwise it will make my heart race.
Have you tried any prebiotics? Inulin, FOS, GOS, green bananas? Inulin and FOS make me feel worse. People who have SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) can be made worse by prebiotics. I recently had a lactulose breath test for SIBO, and it was negative.
