I used to be a regular church goer wen I was in my teens... my parents had never been religious really and had never taken me to church so this was entirely my own choice.
I went every sunday for 3 years, got confirmed etc.. yet I still don;'t believe in god.
Recently I posted on another site that I was very suicidal and some one suggested that I pray and put my faith in god.. how can I when I simply do not believe in his existence??
I believe in Jesus - I believe a great man existed art that time who was very spritually connected and had a great power over people, but I don;t believe he was the son of god. I've tried very hard to believe, but don;t and I can't see this chnaging.
As such I believe in the big bang theory, nit that god createdc the world in seven days.I actually get quite annoyed when people tell me to "simply put your faith in god then you'll feel better"... If it was med simply I;d have odne it years ago!
Just needed a rant.. sorry!!
