Our Canadian agriculture economy is quickly grinding to a hault because of the politics of closing the border to beef. Even so, it does not bother me when those who prefer vegen or vegetarian state their cause. http://scriptures.lds.org/query?words=eat+meat+sparingly&scripturesearch_button=Search
I will continue to eat meat sparingly, and I will believe in my religion. I have obviously offended Lou (in Dena's words), but I could have been just as offended by the discussion against meat.
I can love and accept you regardless of how you believe or eat, but can you accept me, a Mormon beef slaughterer? (no answer necessary)
In my opinion the beef/vegen issue is an appropriate metaphor for the PB forums, but I don't think anyone should be warned, blocked, or banned for stating their preference.
