Friends,
It is written here about {'saving souls'} and about that that could be a {burden} to Jews that accept the commandments from God to them as written in the scriptures that the Jews use in their service and worshiop to the god that they cherish as in Exodus 20.
Now as a Jew I have posted here that my overiding concern for me is to save lives. We Jews when we hold up the glass with the fruit of the vine, we say,{L'Chaim}, which means {"to life"}.
There is a lot that Jews believe about life that I can not post here. But there are other Jews that have saved millions and going on billions of lives and then trillions with their life's dedication that I have never seen them saying that what they were doing was a burden, but a mitzvah that they were doing to please the God that they gave service and worship to.
Here is a link to the life of Jonas Salk, born to Jewish immigrants and developed the life-saving vaccine for polio. I and you may be alive today because of the work of Jonas Salk.

Back to hijacking the thread... :(
Lou, maybe you're right. It just doesn't seem all that sound to me. I think it boils down to your conception of what it means to 'save lifes', which seems to me to be rather {censored}.

In your post above, what the meaning of to {save li(v)es} could be better understood as to what my my conception of that is.
When I look over the posts here there are those that are in what has been revealed to me to be a living death, people wanting to kill themselves, to find a way out, to stop withdrawal, and other states of being that have been revealed to me to be what {death} is. To save the lives of those is been given to me to know a way to be out of the death realm and into a life and peace and joy realm. It is a way of by a resurrection out of their death state. This resurrection is by a new birth, old things will pass away and one could have a new heart and a new spirit and a new mind. There would be no more pain, no more death in the new realm.
The lives that could be saved could be the lives of those that are now in a living death. And then when they are translated into the new realm, they could also be saved from physical death.
When I had an encounter with a Rider on a White Horse, He said to me, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this, Lou?"
