Slinky. can you describe Slinky and be believed?
She could break your heart, or make you snort out your coffee with a one line post, posts which to me always seemed they snuck into the thread. Her Slinky - brilliant, whimsical musings made me feel like I was being tickled from the inside. Who but Slinky?
could draw bunnies and birthday cakes that you could never forget-- using only keyboard characters.
Who but ethereal, naughty Slinky could make X rated flirtatiousness endearing, as natural as breathing, and offensive only because it made your own attempts clutzy and overwrought.Slinky could sneak into your heart without you knowing - until the day you'd find yourself saying "My chickens are freaking!!"
Then you were hooked.
She helped keep me alive one summer, we kept each other upright.. barely. God how she struggled, but never had a cruel word for anyone. This is nothing really,it's for me.
This hurts.Slinky was herself and
I can't pretend to know a tenth of who she was.
we weren't close friends, in the last year I'm not sure that we even said hello.Still I think of her as one of the most exquisitly, painfully, precious people I've ever met.
No more pain slinky
No more ugliness
No more fear
No more razors
No more grief.
No more
SlinkyPeace

*tears* her e-mails were missives of humourous mischief and wonderful love. no doubt she fought for life as we all witnessed for years. wish she had the help she needed as she worked so very hard at achieving balance in her most unbalanced life. these illnesses can be so cruel in how and when they take someone.
slinkster was a beautiful woman, a cherished comrade in this dark fight, a gifted artist, a tormented soul, and so much more than this online acquaintance is able to express.
It's Slinky
it's Slinky
for fun it's a wonderful toy
It's Slinky
it's Slinky
it's fun for a girl and a boy.Paging Dr. Eamer....doctor eamer....you've been called home Dr.Eamer. Press CtrlAltnDel to go home. May you find the peace there that you weren't able to find here. Ctrl/Dreamer/Slinky and a myriad of other monikers....you were loved, you are missed...you'll never be forgotten for being true to yourself and how having one of the largest hearts possible.

I am appalled? Angry? speechless? feeling things I can't describe? after
reading what you've posted here.
Slinky would have been kinder about it.
I know I should ignore but I can't.

please oh please oh freakin please let it be the last.
please let our voices be heard about scary/deadly side effects and less than adequate treatment in our countries (usa and uk). each loss is heartbreaking in how easily it could be *any* of us at one time or another.
two of those who have suicided helped through our darkest hours....why didn't they pull through too? = ( there are no answers to that question.
please fight on for better treatment, better meds, better everything as these diseases have robbed all of us out of so much life has to offer....we all deserve better. we all deserve better than adequate treatment. these names of those who've left us are imprinted on the heart and it stirs up rightous indignation about treatment options and why in blazes there isn't more outrage about lack of effective treatment for more of us?!
yes AbbieNormal please oh please let this be the last here in this community (and let's work for global awareness of this issue as well so as not to lose another soul to mental illness/disease/disorder)
((AbNorm)) & ((all of us who've felt loss))

I am torn between sadness and outrage and guilt for being torn. No one should be torn from us, not another single person.

I will always remember her charming posts to "Bobbykins." Slinky was a true wit and muse and I hope she has found peace from the demons that haunted her.
Rest in Peace "Slinkykins."

i'll think of something in a few days. but i do know how very in love with me she was. and how dearly missed she'll be.
i specifically bought mango juice for my duckie a while back, just so he could taste mangoes. he loved them. thanks slinky doll. you're something.

What terrible, terrible news.
Posted by Tabitha on June 5, 2008, at 22:36:13
Have barely taken it in. All I can think is "it only takes one sad moment". I hate suicide. Sounds trite, but how awful that people are so fragile. I suppose they can also just be hit by a bus, but I hate suicide in particular. It seems like a victory of hopelessness. She had hope lately, seemed happy to be dating.
Such a cruel contrast, the person we see is so charming, so lovable, so worthy of happiness. But we know she suffered with the depression, anxiety, whatever were her personal symptoms. The mind turns on itself. Defective brain, I suppose. Cruel reality.
I'm babbling. I just feel sad. May she rest.

> I'm disgusted, and in disbelief.
> And sickenedPlease be sensitive to the feelings of others even if this is a difficult time for you. A supportive environment is especially valuable when a community is mourning a loss.
But please don't take this personally, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person.
For more information about posting policies, please see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#enforceFollow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above posts, should of course themselves be civil.

or overgeneralize Dr. Bob.
I am sensitive to the feelings of others.. Perhaps you didn't think I was in this particular
post, hardly indicitive of my personality.
There are many ways to be insensitive.
