Hello,
I have considered the idea of moving to the UK on a working holiday visa to work for awhile (I am both a Canadian and US citizen). My question involves the healthcare system. As someone on a visa, would I have access to the national Healthcare system? Is psychiatric treatment covered under this system? any information that can be provided would be appreciated, thanks.

I think if you are actually working here, then you're entitled to free healthcare. This means you can see a GP pretty much whenever you need to. You would get referal onto a psychiatrist as needed, which would also be free. There is a standard charge for prescription drugs. I think thats about £6.50, or US$11.
