Green drinks/foods

Anyone here regularly consume a green drink or food? If so, which one(s)? Have you noticed any differences in your health or do you just take it for prophylactic purposes? Does it taste horrible or do you manage to camouflage it by mixing it into something else? I'm thinking of trying Jarrow brand green drink.

I drink wheatgrass juice every day. I like to get my nutrients from the freshest, most unprocessed sources rather than powders and supplements. Wheatgrass juice is an incredible detoxifier and is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

It doesn't taste great. Not suprisingly, it tastes like grass, and it is slightly sweet, but I only drink 2 oz at a time, so that's not too hard. I've noticed a lot of improvements in my skin and overall health since drinking wheatgrass juice and upping my intake of raw fruits and vegetables. I've lost a lot of weight.

Here's a website which lists some of its benefits: http://www.wigmore.org/benefits_of_drinking_wheatgrass.html

I have not been drinking green drinks at all only because it is such a hastle and cost to get all the ingredients and make into a juice. I am however going to buy a smoothie maker and make fruit veggie mix juices.

That's a good idea. Let us know how it tastes.
