Green boogers, what is the offical meaning? ;-)

Ugggh! I have a cold and now my boggers are green(sorry for the grossness), well does that mean I have an infection? Uggh, I hate infections, because that meana my asthma is going to get worse, and then steroids for me. I hate that.
