Thought this interesting although vita D seems like alternative it fits in with meds as low levels of the hormone Vita D leads to fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Establishing normal levels of D reduces the need for pain meds. Phillipa

Sun is best source of Vita D. Wonder if that is why some that use light boxes feel better during winter month? Phillipa ps my endo also checked mine think it was 50 something.

Yes. So many people have a shortage of vitamin D because we are now a society of "sunblock".
The light boxes are for people with SAD. They don't give off vitamin D (well, of course you know that).
