Hi, im in the process of weaning off effexor 37.5 after an earlier attempt i suffered withdrawal effects (spongy brain,shock feeling/mindslip, and extra stress). I am tryin to get pregnant but of course dont want to be on these pills indefinetly(2 years taking them). Does anybody have any info about how they affect pregnancy. Its a risk i dont want to take but my consultant is considering an alternative treatment and i personally think he is thinking that i shouldnt have a child because of my history, i am at high risk of recurring episode/depression. I am 30 years old and am in a stable 6 year relationship. we feel as ready as ever for a family. what are my options? Any experiences or ideas would be welcome xx thanx
