I'm looking for a simple chart that I can use to keep a daily log of my symptoms of depression. I keep a diary sometimes, but I find the narrative format hard to do everyday, especially when I'm not feeling well.
Does anyone have a simple chart that they use to rate their symptoms? If you do, can you describe what it consists of? I've made a couple of stabs at coming up with something on my own but I'd appreciate hearing about a tool that others have used and perfected.
Because I am new to the group, I'm not really sure where this type of post should go, so since I'm new I'm putting it in the newbie area.
Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to PsychoBabble. There are a lot of great people here, and I know I've received a great deal of support here over the years, as well as a lot of great information.
This is a great question you've posted, and I'm certain there are a number of options offered by various people here. Several years ago, I created one which helped me a great deal, so I know how difficult it can be to start from scratch. On the main Medications board, a long-time poster, SLS, has posted a nice chart, and I believe others have been posted as well. In fact, the Medications board might be a very good place to post this question.
In the meantime, here is a link to SLS's post about the chart he's found helpful: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20080805/msgs/844262.html
I hope that helps.
This is the end of the thread.
