hi im new on this site. just been diagnosed with bi polar disorder and im really scared. im due to see my doctor in the next couple of days (weekly check) and she wants to discuss admitting me in to hospital. would like some advice as dont know what to expect. my friend who directed me to this site said that if their is a choice to go, go voluntarily. im really confused. any advice and/or suggestions welcome

Welcome to Babble. I don't have any advice on hospital admissions, but I'm sure others can tell you more. This board isn't very active. You'd get more responses over on the Social board.

Or the medications board pretty active. And yes voluntary is definitely the best way and welcome to babble. Love Phillipa
